Strawberry Piggy

Inspired by vintage American ceramics and kitsch art, I reimagined a classic piggy bank from a mold. I hand carved intricate strawberries onto the surface, using sgraffito techniques to bring out their detailed texture. The negative space around the carvings is thoughtfully removed, enhancing the design and giving the piece a layered effect. This work blends nostalgia with personal creativity, transforming a familiar object into a unique and playful piece of art.
