Pitchers Set

🍓🐻🏺 Set of two handmade ceramic pitchers. These pitchers start with a base that is thrown on the wheel, the spout is pulled from the base, the handle is attached separately. The strawberries were hand drawn onto the piece, then carved out from the piece, and painted with underglaze. The bear pitcher involved handbuilt details that were attached, and the pitcher was carved to get that texture as well. Both pitchers were fired in a cone 10 reduction atmospheric firing. The strawberry pitcher was glazed clear, while the bear pitcher was glazed with Shino. They were intended to be two different pieces that function as a set but aren't the same, both with a carving requirement. I went with my two favorite wheel-thrown pottery ideas, strawberry carving, and textured bears, and tied them together with the strawberry that the bear is stealing from the other pitcher.
